We had a really nice, spontaneous and lazy morning with Jeff and Gina once we woke up. Chris apparently didn't sleep in their trailer because he was too cold (we don't really spoon much anymore for some reason - it used to be the most favorite part of my marriage, but now...we just stay on our own sides? But he woulda been warmer had he been spooning me!! ;-) Anyways ... Chris and Jeff went out to a boy store while Gina and I had coffee and chatted in the kitchen. I wish she lived closer...she is one of my favorite people to talk to ....
We arrived before dinner and in time to just chill out for a little while after such a crazy drive .... Chris hadn't slept and he hadn't eaten well either, so by 2, he was fighting a migraine and was just so grumpy, so he slept for a little while, while I drove. I pushed a bunch of fruit and water into him and he felt better when he woke up ....
Here is mom prepping dinner that we were all going to have downstairs in their common room! They booked it for the whole weekend! It was great...
While waiting for dinner, the kids worked out! Everyone had a station!!

Chris was put on mushroom duty!! Mom and Dad made amazing steaks, and nothing goes better with steaks than fresh chanterelle mushrooms!!
Flashback to the last time mom put Chris in charge of mushrooms for Thanksgiving Dinner in their old house!!
Games by the fire while we waited for dinner ....
Ellie was left to finish her meal ... she was happy .... so cute.
We just chilled out and finished up dinner ... it was a good night. Nice start to our Thanksgiving 2016 weekend!
