Winter Market Day 2, oh, and my birthday!

Opened the car door and was greeted by this lovely friend ....

Setting up the new products!!!

Day 2 - don't they look professional?

We also brought a handful of bubble wands too ... when the Christmas music was playing, the bubbles added such a sense of holiday cheers ....

Rememeber my 'pre-kids' friend Lori?  Chris spotted her behind her mask before I did .... she came by the booth on day 1, and on day 2, brought us all homemade masks....very sweet.

Rachel brought our boys to the market to help work the last few hours ... Isaac got right to work.

They also got right to work looking for the perfect birthday present for me lol

Nicole came by with a birthday coffee for me too around 3....I was well caffeinated today!

One of our trees was adopted (bought) by one of the classiest venders who has a lavender business...

Here is Elliot describing my birthday present from him ... he designed me a llama at Machu Picchu, with 2 whales behind him, one with a machine gun blowing up an explosion behind the llama ...

He worked hard designing it for me ...

And then fast forward to 7pm and this is what I am greeted with as I open the door to a bunch of yelling!!  Happy birthday being belted real loud, everyone is masked up and there is a cake in a basket on a 6 foot stick and a present being held out by a pole ... It was the sweeted, Covid surprise.....

Shannon made me the most girlie cake because she knew that boys wouldn't make me a girlie cake ;-)

A Christmas gift from Shannon ...

Fast forward to bed time, and Rachel brought me my present in bed ... very sweet ....It sure was a good (long) weekend ...

Saturday Winter Farm Market DAY 1

Both of them were so excited the night before, I think they had trouble sleeping!  Apparently they have both wanted to do a Farmers Market in their life...Lisa just never had the opportunity (she likes to partner with a friend), and Chris just never knew what he could sell .... UNTIL now!

The quality of all their things made them one of the best booths that weekend ....

Jenny came along and helped Chris hit his goal of the day! (I can't remember what it was, but he lit up when he saw her coming! lol) ...

The booth beside us sold so many painted snowmen, so that night we went home and built some Christmas trees to sell the next day .... This guy helped too (and he happily took a cut too)

He puts the finishing touches on everything ....

Full heart (cold hands!) but my favorite is when we have projects together .... missing Elliot but he was keeping the house cozy for us ...

Final product!!!

Rachel turns 42

Common sight around here.

Facebook memories showed what I did for Rachel on her birthday 7 years ago ....

Figured I’d redo it ....

Even the Shirley temple ... She wanted to just come and sit by the fire ... so, she got it.

Sunday

A long 10km walk with my favorite therapist this am

And then while Chris was mushroom picking, and Elliot played video games, Isaac drove us around the lake!!

He downloaded a road trip playlist that featured lots of billy Joel and 80’s songs I loved ... and it was so nice!!

Love where we live. It’s gorgeous.

This beautiful boy is really such a character.  I love him so much!!!  Here he is in a onesie I bought him years ago and the feet no longer fit him, so we just cut slits in the feet so his toes can poke out.

And this kid keeps the quietness at bay.

20 minutes after the first pic was taken.  Guitar and no clothes.  Totally Isaac.

Sunday morning hike and waffles and Pictionary with the Williams

We tried out a new hike in Genoa Bay this morning....

Always lots of laughs with this group .....

Danica climbs ALL the time, here she was hoping nobody would notice her up there, her mother always does ....

A little of Elliots photography ....

It started to pour once we hit the summit ...

We all love when Elliot walks close with us ....

Shannon was also tickled when Reid linked arms with her this aft ....

Such a beautiful boy ... smart and kind ....

Phil made some great waffles .... and homemade ice cream to go on top ... so here is Elliot taking his turn with Pictionary ... he was drawing a mosquito .... ;-)

Lips? Smile? or Mouth?

If you said Mouth, you win ;-)
