Pikes Place Market!!!

After we met up again with Susan (who silently opted OUT of the Ferris Wheel....she was right, nobody needs to do that ride twice in their life!)....we all walked to the market.
While we were in the Ferris Wheel, Susan went out and bought some bubble gum!  I had no idea why, but she seemed excited....turns out she took us to a bubble gum alley.

Ellie was the first one to put her gum on the wall...and I am pretty sure was disappointed to realize she no longer could chew it because I think she tried to pull it back off the wall after.  The boys, however, seeing this, would only show me the gum.

He wouldn't take it out of his mouth ....

2017 SPRING BREAK!!

PRE-KINDERGARTEN 2009!!

First Stop: Coffee from Emily's favorite coffee shop...and it did NOT disappoint!  Even Elliot got in on the action taking the remainder of Carrie's coffee!
I just love Carrie's face in this picture .. there is just SO much to see at this market and everyone is taking it all in!

Emily recommended the coffee place, and Eli recommended the stuffed pastry shop!

Afternoon snack of stuffed pastry ... and thank you Eli, it did not disappoint either!

After pastry, Isaac reminded me that he needed an oyster!!!  Fresh fish all over the market, why wouldn't you find him an oyster?
Not wanting to be left out, Jack quickly said he wanted one too!! Well, I don't think he knew what he was asking, but he was a good sport and tried to get it to slide into his mouth.  The oyster didn't slide off easily, so while shaking it to try to get off the shell, some of the juice slide off into his mouth and I am pretty sure that was when it all ended!  lol

So ... Isaac was pretty stoked to eat his too!

I got a kick out of our return time!!  It was THAT kind of day!!  Very smooth!
Outlet mall on the way home and all kids (except Isaac), got new kicks!!! Here are Elliots new shoes!

Meeting up with Emily and Mike for dinner at their favorite Mexican restaurant....I just love this shot of the boys 'meeting of the minds'.....neither of my kids ate here...they were still stuffed with pastry and oysters.

Very fun girl ... pretty glad she's coming into the family.

It was one of those great days ... lots of facetime, good food, laughter .... can't believe I considered staying home!

Seattle Ferris Wheel!

The big splurge today was the Seattle Ferris Wheel ... almost backed out (I find it hard to part with my money sometimes!!!)--but I am glad we did it with Carrie and the kids ... we made memories!
This girl seemed happy to be on her first big Ferris Wheel ride with all these boys!!!

Carrie was a touch freaked out at the beginning ... it didn't help either of us with the boys would randomly say things like "Lets lean on the glass doors!" or "I wonder if these open?".....

This bird creeped us out!  Our seat came around the top of the wheel and there is this seagull sitting calmly on the outside ... just watching us, like "this isn't high....why are you freaking out?  I'm just sitting out here"....

Seattle Science Centre!!

Mike woke up early and spoiled us all with homemade pancakes (regular kind for the kids and healthier protein pancakes for the adults!) ... and fresh coffee.  We were all in the car at a good time and heading towards Seattle on this beautiful Thursday morning!  It was an uneventful ride, Carrie and Susan chatted up front, while the kids all had a variety of books to read.  We found rock star parking very close to the Science Centre ... so off we went!!
The last time I was here it was for Isaacs Kindergarten trip!!  I thought this picture looked familiar when snapped it:

Similar concentration on these boys faces as they hope for a butterfly to land on them!!

A throw back to the last time she was in the Science Center!

He is jumping to get our attention ...

A really good lunch ... packed at Susans home ... she had bought stuff for us all to pack ... and it really is so much better to eat our food rather than eat out!

At the end of the day, when the boys were lying in bed, this was their favorite part of the day....this catapult thing.
