It started when I got back from Vancouver with my mom
And we had such a nice time at the China town food and culture tour that I decided to look for a Victoria one! Shannon agreed first and then I just made a couple calls and we got a really fun group together!!

The first chinese elementary school ... still runs today ... with half chinese/half locals.

This little Patisserie was so beautiful, it had been used a few times in some Hallmark movies in these past 2 years ....

My mom makes better eclairs with whip cream (this one had a chocolate hazelnut mousse in it ... good, but not as good as my moms)

Beautiful little store!!

Shannons first time down Fan Tan Alley!!

Isn't she cute? We were both kept very warm by hats knitted by Chris ... and please note the little backpack from Peru we bought for Danika but she continues to "borrow" it ... I wish I had bought one!

Lots of little alleyways and corners in China Town ....

Next it was time for a Matcha Latte ....very good and lots of health benefits ... I need to get into it.

One of my favorite humans who I do not get to see enough .... but she sparks my soul ...

Day drinking at the pub downtown ....

And ending at the harbor .... lovely morning!

We popped over to the museum to see an Imax (She has always wanted to go to Antarctica and it was showing ... not sure if she is so keen anymore? Looks very very cold with no hotels) ... and we got her a family pass for the year too so we can have outings this winter when the weather is miserable ...

This place is on the list for next visit -- Carrie and I discovered it in Quebec and now its in Victoria!!!

We asked to take a pic of some customers ice creams ... next time!! (That middle one was for Elliot -- my cotton candy fiend!!) ....

Fun day ....
