We got the answers we needed, EEG's and MRI's in record time, now its time to start life over with this new hitch....didn't want to write anything about this past week, but chris felt I should write something to document it, in all its awfulness and all its beautifulness....Momastery says it well when she calls life "Brutiful"....it was a brutiful week. Chris and I are stronger together, we grew closer and held onto eachother for dear life as we went through the hardest week of both our lives. We took turns breaking, and felt so loved and supported by our friends and family. Each of our facebook threads, updating our loved ones mostly all got 100 likes and a pile of emails coming through to us at our darkest hours. The friends and my amazing sister who let me sob on the phone in the middle of the night are bonds that got stronger through those weakest times. Some of the most beautiful words were spoken to us as we watched our boy, almost skip through this week, appearing to be fully unaware of our terror of the unknown of what was causing his seizures. An email from Jenny that came in the middle of the night during one of my darker hours, will always be in my heart as a really special part of the week. For the first time since I have met her, she shared part of her heart with me, and I sobbed at the words. I want to write more, but I won't because of the number of eyes on my blog. I feel as though I can't be candid because of who reads my words and its a strange time, an uncomfortable time where I feel as though I can't be honest about the details of this brutal week. But at the end of the day, there is much love in our lives and many people love our children so much...and Isaac will be ok...so what more could we ask for?
