On our way to San Francisco....

Big drive to San Francisco today from Medford, Oregon. 
The worldmark in San Francisco is beautiful but they totally fleece you for parking!  $49 US for 24 hours!  But the hotel is beautiful and we are pretty lucky to be able to use the timeshare for these trips .... we checked in at the end of another long driving day and went out to explore.  Here we are at Union Square ....

We’re back in the unit. We’ve been snacking and I’ve been knitting and Chris has been sending work emails ... and the kids are watching movies .... tommorow: Alcatraz. 

The boys and the Winslow’s Christmas wood puzzle

It’s been cute. We’ve seen this puzzle every year we’ve come... now they can do it. And here is Chris and Susan planning December: Susan giving route suggestions and Chris giving Maui suggestions for their trip next week. 
And mike cleaning up dishes .... they’ve been spectacular hosts .... as always!
And now it’s time for Bingo.

Washington state ferry .... while Chris was doing puzzles upstairs, Isaac and I napped downstairs. 

Susan and mike made us fish tacos for dinner (favorite), and a cookie cake! 

After the best sleep I’ve had in ages, Emily and Eli came over with sweet baby Luca




While Chris took the boys to science world in Seattle, Susan and I did the ladies tea afternoon at her church. It was very nice ... even a few past WOA campers were there and seemed happy to see me....

Insights Training

Squeezed in a quick lunch with Darlene st today’s insights personality training ....

Spent the night with Mary at Bear Mountain resort ... loved her overnight bag. 

Christmas movies and wings and a big empty bed. Pretty blissful 

Very quick but solid visit. 

Our scout sleeps over at Mesachie Hall!

So Amanda is the leader of this sweet scouts group.  Elliot was so excited he put on his scout shirt and “necker” before he left for the hall on Friday!!

Chris set up the movie with our screen for them.  Elliots most fun memory of this night was hide and seek in the dark!  And the only way it would have made the overnight better was “I wish there was no cubs ... they were annoying”. ;-). 

Rachel turns 40!

We started at the Sattva Spa downtown Victoria ....

Then it was Tacos on Fort Street .....

Then the trees of the children’s hospital in the Mall downtown ....

Look who we found .....

JL was missing .... but we all got Starbucks.


It was Rachel’s first Worldmark experience, they gave us the top corner unit! Once we get ready for the evening, we walked downtown to the Santa parade.






After the parade, we headed to the Japanese village for dinner.

Happy 40th Rachel!!!!   Tuxedo cake as requested!!!





Morning was super chill with coffee and oatmeal and Rachel finally got up around 10:30 lol. 

Elliot’s turn to go down .....

Well since the Burdge reunion a couple weeks ago, the boys have taken turns being sick.  Isaac had a cold for a solid week and half and here we are now with Elliot and his sore throat.  We’ve been here since 6:45 tonight. The tough part about Elliot is that he is still prone to croup symptoms. And I had forgotten that tidbit until Chris mentioned it a little while ago.  

So, we’ve rubbed oils and given him a little pain reliever and now we ride it out.

Tuesday was the boys last piano lessons and we met Grandma and Grandpa at Triple O’s after for dinner ... Isaac loves showing off the videos he takes of his friends at school to anyone who will watch.  Here is grandma watching a video of Isaac jumping over a huge puddle of water from school recess that day ... he landed in the puddle and thought it was hilarious to spend the rest of the day with wet feet.....

And, it was time for a wiggling lesson from Grandad.
