This kid has taken up skateboarding ...

While we were going through DQ, he got out of the car to 'try out' his new knee guards and elbow/wrist guards ... as he slammed his body onto the parking lot with a victoria "IT DOESN'T HURT!!" His friends heard him bellow from across the parking lot and yelled "isaac!!!!" and they all came running over with the biggest noise ever that DQ workers came running out thinking they were about to break up a fight...lol.  Isaac and his friends are so rowdy and happy ... 

Squeezed out a bike ride with this gem ....

And then a hike with my longest walking partners ... it was a nice weekend outside .... I do miss my friends, so it was nice to see a few over the weekend at a safe distance.  Covid can be done now ...

Lisa and I took a little break on the water this afternoon .... 

We both needed a break from work so we took a loop and ended up at the beach and decided it was a beautiful time for a paddle ....



While on the theme of boats:  Elliot made a meme of his brother that is hilarious ....

It's COVID and restrictions are so tight right now .... so getting out into the woods is good for everyones mental health ....

Welcome to 2021! The week into the new year!

Here is Elliot ... who was motivated to stay up all night .... not sure what time he made it to!  But it was the wee hours!

To start the New Year right, Shannon and I hiked Mesachie first thing in the morning!

And on January 2nd, Nancy and I ran the post office in Lake Cowichan together ... we have fun.

Isaac and I drove around town dropping off little gift bags to his youth kids .....

Our bubble friends ... it was nice over the holidays when we knew nobody was going to school or work and we were both just staying on our own properties ... we enjoyed a few quiet togethers ....

I found this grey seat at thrift and told chris of my dream of having a nice morning seat to sit at...and voila!  

Stumbled across this little gem this week ... 2 very old friends ...

Elliots FIRST paid graphic gig!!

We are all pretty stoked for this kid!  He worked with a client online who found him through Reddit, who had given him a logo that he wanted to be more “space”, as well as some color charts that he wanted and after an evening of work and some back and forth conversation and tweaks, money was deposited into his PayPal account!   

Hopefully this is the first of many!!

Post-Christmas activities around here!!

Grandma and Grandpa got Isaac some taps for making maple syrup!  Here is his first go!
