Elliot telling Chris a story about he and i swimming yesturday:
E: ah, mommy, cannaball!! SPLASH! peek!!
C: Oh, mommy did a cannonball, BIG splash.....and came up and said 'PEEK!'?
E: ya (and repeat)
Once he can get you to understand a story he is trying to tell, he says it over at least 3 times.....
We are having such fun this summer.....we rotate between the dock and the beach. I like the dock because the jetski is there, isaac likes to snorkle, and elliot goes up and down the ladder and paddles around on his own......the beach is nice because there are other kids for them to play with and the sand keeps isaac and his skinny bones warmer than the dock. Seriously...he freezes so quickly.......on the beach he swims and then gets out and lays on the sand until his sun suit dries and then he goes back in.
Cristin and the girls came up yesturday just before lunch and left just before 9pm.....i should have taken some pictures....but i don't like carrying around that big camera....my sister has the right idea with that little hand held canon camera!
Re-reading my post, i feel sort of weird that it sounds like this is all we do and maybe i should write something with more drama ... but this blog is for me so i can remember. Right now is a pretty sweet time with not alot of drama going on.....but my memory is so bad, and the rainy, dreary weather will be back soon and the camp will be empty soon and we will be back on our own....so now is when i have to write so i can remember how wonderful it is.....it helps me get through the winter.......
