We all like to take pictures of food...especially spreads where one, or many of us have put quite a but of work into....here is Mel doing said action.
Kelly brought the best crafts to girls night....even I took part!!! It's a big glass 'chai latte' type mug, where we were able to etch anything we wanted into it!! I did a big 'S'!!!!!
All of us hard at work....Gina saw my mug when I got home and wanted one too!
Beautiful spread, cool craft, and no JL in sight.....this was the shot i grabbed of her early on in the evening....upstairs with her kids!! She was able to get down later.....ah the host never fully really gets to enjoy the party, do they?
Kelly also brought henna that i tried my hand in......epic fail....now i have to look at this 'skid mark' up my leg for at least a week unless i can find a pumice stone and scrub off the top few layers of the ink........reminded me of the last camp girls night i did with some qwanoes girls and we did those press-on nails......i couldn't get them OFF and i had to spend $100 on a pricey manicure rescue the next morning to chemically get the nails off!! BUT that is how i made some sweet memories with Elizabeth! She shook her nail file at me after and said 'don't you EVER do that again....'...but she didn't mention henna......
I was lying there anyways.....so i painted toes that got plopped in front of me.....
Here is sarah shouting out to me "Hey Sharon! Take a pic of me and JL...." So, i did....and i started laughing.....i guess she wanted one more like this second shot....
All round pretty fun night......
I got home around 10 for party part II.....there was already a bonfire going and 6 people around it. Jeff and Chris nowhere to be seen....they went to bed.....midnight came fast, but it was good conversation and lots of laughs......you never know how your day is going to shape up...so its important to always show up to it!
