We feasted....then the big boys disappeared somewhere - i think jon went home, paul went to the shop, chris played computer. Then all the little boys disappeared upstairs...and then all the ladies cozied up to watch commercial free pvr'd {thank you very much} greys anatomy. If i am being honest...this show is pretty much total smut and the only real reason i watch is to watch with friends......when there is nobody around...i don't normally watch it. But its fun to gather!!
After the students left, rachel C. who came back over for a few days before her big trip to ireland in a few week, was beckoned in sweetly by little Elliot to read to them.
Reading to one little boy quickly turned into this quaint mob:
And i had to show off my thrift store booty from this aft!!!:From left to right: fluff roller, 2 pairs of fleecy mittons for the boys, new mint floss, jedi socks, star wars trilogy, jumanji, natural olive oil glycerine to make homemade soap, a little striped shirt for Everett as well as a brand new hawaiian shirt and short combo for Everett as well, body glove water wings for Elliot, wooden puzzles, lambie puppet with tags still on {so cute!}, The nightmare before christmas, a brand new double skip skipping rope to donate to isaacs school, kitty notebook {cause i can never find a piece of paper!}, and a floatie suit for Elliot since his last one like this had a broken zipper {and we loved it! So, i was stoked to find a new one in a bigger size for the guy}. Not pictured cause isaac swiped and ran away with it already: pokeman video and pokeman box to store his cards and treasures in!
Bet you want to know what all this cost??
It was a bag sale at the local thursday church thrift store...and the bag cost $3.
Who needs extreme couponing??
Are you impressed? I am! ;-)
