DIY Laundry Soap

So, my dear friend kept this under wraps for 4 months before she finally let it slip that she never pays for laundry detergent........i was intrigued {obviously!!}
Here are the directions!!
1/3 bar of soap {we used sunlight...but i have read that any bar of soap will do...and don't make your hoice based on smell, it will often just fade out in the rinse cycle, but i do find that sunlight does have a slight fresh citrus scent!}
1/3C Washing Soda
1/2 C Borax
Grate the Soap
Melt soap in 6 cups of water, but DO NOT BOIL!
Slowly add washing soda and borax...stirring until dissolved.
Pour into a 2 gallon container.
Stir in enough warm water to fill the container to the 2 gallon mark.
Let mixture sit for 24 hours to set up into a gel or liquid laundry soap.

For all who read my blog....i am planning a little spa/laundry detergent making night in the next month or so...let me know if you are interested in coming ok??!!  xoxoxo
