We missed having Mike and Susan as Disney companions....its always nice when the group is bigger--more the merrier...that kind of thing. But it was a beautiful day (as you can tell..quite sunny!)
We attempted Toads Wild Ride as one of our first rides, which turned out to be a big mistake for little Elliot who screamed like we were stabbing him as we approached the ride. After much encouragement and threats of the amount of money we have spent today, we got him on, saying 'how bad could it be? you watched Toad in the Wind in the Willows the night before...no problem! you've got this!!' Isaac and i rode in the car ahead....chris and elliot behind. I was first to discover the dark, terrifying ride that "Toad" goes on...complete with howls, red eyes, screams.....whooops....sorry Elliot......my bad! We tried to make up for it on the Carousel afterwards.....which we all love....but we attemped Buzz Light years Astro ride and tarzans treehouse with the same response: screaming and clawing at the door....sigh. {all i saw in my mind yesturday morning was dollar bills with wings, flying away from us.....}

This rude storm trouper would NOT stop for a picture with me and my sweet children....so here is a picture of him being poked in the bum by Elliot. Storm trouper actually ended up turning around, pointing the gun at elliot and kept walking......

He was a little too happy to be behind the wheel at Autopia......
So was Isaac.....he pretty much did me in with his lousy steering....
i can take rollercoasters, but not my 7 year olds driving skills {or lack of!}
Lovely Welle girls met up with us!! Ironically the ride we took in together was "Small world!!"
There is something pretty cool at seeing people you love in places that aren't home......ah Meg....such a treat!! Your sweet 'childlike' excitement was so sweet in the small world.......thank you to you and your peeps for taking Elliot so Isaac could ride Indianna Jones with both of his parents!!
Breaking out of toon town......
This was the first year of Disney where chris wasn't lugging the huge camera and sling backpack it sleeps in! We were totally un-encumbered! No diapers! No strollers!
No camera! Just a visa and an android!!

Buzz Light year ride....yes, the exact one elliot screamed and kicked at going into 9 hours earlier!!
But the ride actually had a malfunction and we had to walk out!!!
We all had the best scores of our lives but they got wiped out when the power shut down on the cars and the lights came up and Emperor Zorg tipped over.....
i love its a small world......
Hour 12 - we were tired and frozen....
I have much to say about the interesting things i learned about Disney, but perhaps another post...this post has already taken 2 days...and i am tired. We are at the Inch's now....we love this family. Time for sleep.....7:14 comes early {silly children....don't they know they can sleep in on holidays?}
