I have not yet been able to talk to carrie...though i am totally dying to; here is the first picture of jack with his little sister:
We have had the roughest day of the trip thus far: San Francisco plus a little unwanted detour {because remember what i had said in my last blog about san fran being tougher to navigate around than NY?} Well, we took a wrong turn and it added 2 hours to our already long 8 hour day.....
Sigh.....so, add 2 hours onto and 8 hour travel day plus approx 2 hours of gas stops, bathroom breaks, etc.....do the math and we were on the road for 12 hours. Yup.....we are dead....well, chris is....I am....the kids? still full of giggles, happy {and annoying at this time of night!!}...they got busy right away locking their shoes in the in-room safe and then couldn't figure out the code they had punched in.....
Nothing a little Ihop didn't help to bring us all back to life around 8:30 - plus a little gift of kids eating free after 4......we are staying at a cute little place near disney for $60, meaning cheap, but also meaning sleeping with the kids!! only one night....only one night is the mantra!!!!
