The assembly was nuts!!! Bordering out of control, chris and I had fun watching it yet both of us were pretty uncomfortable. Not sure who thought it would be a good idea to have an assembly asking for quiet and full compliance from grades 4-7 in the last hour before summer break. But there we were.
This lady didn’t like them making any noise. They ended assembly by a draw. Which sounds fun, but apparently the librarian didn’t give away some books? So they decided to use the assembly to draw out 20 names and try to announce them while the kids are going crazy. And every second or third name, the kid wasn’t there because they are obviously enjoying their summer break already. So they would have to keep re-drawing. And the groans coming from the kids when they discovered it was books they were winning instead of something fun, was pretty hilarious.
Michelle Davis has been Elliot’s teacher for two years. She cares for him and he really enjoyed being in her classroom. Here he is receiving outstanding achievement in language arts.
He took a double take of us when he walked into the theater. It was really cute. So proud.
