Made a turkey on Sunday for the week....
Isaac had to get his carving of his sea captain to art this afternoon because he didn’t, for some reason, finish it in class.
So after we dropped off the carving at school, and picked up a math textbook with homework for the summer, he talked me into pulling the car over and showing me the location of your new spot that he loves. This is actually the old highway, with pavement under the ground covering there. The ground is covered with beautiful little flowers, lined with ferns on the side. It was a beautiful little spot.
Here’s his spot!! Sweeping the moss off to get to the pavement. He would like to put down tape or paint to square off a location for sword fighting lol
Then we bush whacked for an hour trying to find the path home.
This little adventure peaked my imagination for future hiking trips with this kid. But no more bush whacking. That’s no fun but being with him is.
