Vegas is pretty slimy ... So we packed up and got out of there pretty quickly in the morning. Heading out of town we decided to hit up the Pawn Stars shop ... We love that show!
The place was full and they were about to start filming ....

As we drove through Nevada, Arizona and into Utah (3 states within hours!!)... We saw fighter jets and bombers - they were so close!! We took a picture through the sunroof!!
On our way out of Vegas, after Pawn Stars, we stopped at a casino that had reviews of a great lunch buffet! As the doors open, Elliot goes "oh! Smells like beer and cigarettes! Must be a casino". Teachable moment; made the kids look closely at the people sitting at the machines like robots. Please get your degrees my darlings so you can sit their if you ever really want to, not because you feel you have to to 'win' some money - the odds are greatly against you as the House always wins.

Elliot was happy as a clam. Yup, self serve icecream.
Pretty sure it was Chris giving me the willies, but I felt unnerved after lunch. My stomach felt sore .... But not for long. the boys and I ate a lot of veggies, salads, jello....nothing bad. Elliot brought back the electric neon orange macaroni and cheese - so excited .... Took a little bite as I watched and pushed it away. Bleh.
As we are leaving he says to me "I can't wait to tell my class about my day!! I went to Pawn stars! And a buffet! And to a casino!! What a great day!"
