There is MONEY in Scottsdale .... it's quite a kick to be amongst families who purchase $25 s'mores kits that have some marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers ... they were packaged very pretty but oh my goodness, $25!! We had walked to the Fairmont to see their Christmas festival and you had to pay an entry fee, no thanks, we just walked around ...coming from Disneyland, where they do everything to the nines, everything else after that looks like a wilted Disney!!
But I will say that Americans know how to decorate for Christmas!
At the end of our evening at the Fairmont, it was so sweet -- the building in front of us started playing the night before christmas cartoon!! It was a running movie! On the building!!! So, we all curled up and watched it together ... so sweet!!
It's our final week! And it was nice being out with Chris on this night because he was in bed all day on this day (Saturday), and as I write this (it's Monday night), he has been in bed since Saturday night....so 2 more straight days just in bed .... poor guy, this chest and head cold has just hit him so hard!!
