Palm Springs and arriving in Indio!!

The view this morning from Palm Springs .... it is a beautiful, artsy, warm little town!  I was able to escape for a little while this morning and update the blog and have a coffee at a sweet cafe down the road ... every store window, it seemed, had something so interesting to look at!!

Arrived in Indio this afternoon and Chris slept while the boys and i hit the pool .... but i took some quick shots of the rooms before the family came in!!  They have updated it since we last were here!!  The boys room:

What is crazy is that we have been taking the boys here since Isaac was 4! It was our first big road trip and it all began in our first visit with Mike and Susan in their livingroom on our way down when they first spoke of allowing us to use their timeshares as we travelled.  And now, we are bringing our 10 and 12 year old back here, and it feels like home.
