Monopoly Night....

Well, it was the longest running game of monopoly in the history of our family ... and it continues!  The game is still set up on our table, and we will keep rolling with it tonight.

It is an interesting process of watching how these children manage their money and ideas of prosperity as we play.  Isaac, appears to take on the role of the heartless Trump-like player.  He continues to buy property, no matter how much money he has, or doesn't have ... he seems to think (and so far he is correct), that more money just comes his way.  He does ridiculous negotiations that nobody in their right mind would even entertain! (ie: $500 for Park Place, when he paid something like $200) .... He's been stuck in the jail the last 5 rounds, so he hasn't been making much trouble.  However, he came into my room this morning stating he just rolled snake eyes! Thinking that would get him out of jail, even though nobody saw the roll and we weren't even playing!
Elliot, on the other hand, is a different kind of player.  He is kind, and looks out for other people.  He watches his money and negotiates fair.  At one point, he was low on cash, and I gave him $50 to pay a bill .... so he rounded the corner and 'collected $200 dollars' and then the chance card gave him another $200 ... so he went from having no money, to being ok.
So the game continues.  We went to DQ for ice cream as we had all been in the house all weekend (happily homebound) .... and when we got home, I was so cold, so I had a bath and crawled into bed.  This was the view from my bed of these 3 clowns ....
Never boring .... well, it's sometimes boring, but it doesn't last long lol
