a walk with isaac.....

Picked up Isaac from the bus stop after school and it was a rare time where Elliot was with Chris.  So, Isaac and i went for a walk with our newly shaved pup!  Doesn't he look like a puppy again?  SO cute and SO happy..he smiled all day!  Yes, my dog smiles....its his best feature to know when he is happy!

Isaac told me all about school, recess, friends, art projects {they are doing paper mache and he didn't like getting his hands all dirty when they were putting the strips on the balloons, they made his hands itchy.}

We held hands and did my favorite trail.......to motivate him, i told him when we got to the half way mark of the yellow sign, he could have a treat.  Well, the punk somehow got a peek into my pocket and grabbed the rice krispie square i had brought for him and took off for the sign as soon as he saw it--little baggie waving in his hot little hands.....he can move when he wants to....

The deal: Kick the sign {taken from a tradition my mom and i have!]...get the treat.

So, he was happy walking back, munching his square.

Conversation walking back, talking about what I would do if a car came along too close to us as we walked:

Me:  I would probably toss you in that stream in the ditch so the truck wouldn't hit you.
I: What would you do?
Me: umm..i would probably jump right in there after you...
I: Well, if you got hit, and died, i would crawl out of the ditch and wave my hands like this {waving} and flag a car, or maybe a taxi down to take me home.
Me: What?  You would leave me in the ditch??
I: {thinking}.....hmm, well, i actually wouldn't have any money for a taxi.....

The conversation sorta went downhill from there, but that was the funny part that had me laughing.....
