Thanksgiving Saturday....

Nice day with friends....we got up early and headed to town to work on the chiro office.....grab some groceries and beat our friends back to our house before they got there......turns out we lost - and they did beat us home!  But its such a beautiful day outside, they just played in the yard til we arrived.....It was fun to see the girls get older and see Amara, who is now 9 months old....SO cute!!  I didn't dare touch her because I have been fighting a sickness....but it was nice to be with all these lovely girls.

Seriously, look at Amara!  Cutest baby!!!!

Even Chris was taken with this little girl.....we brought everyone up to the gym to play...plasma cars, cardboard maze, plinko, atom ball.....he's created such a great environment for fall teen retreat this coming weekend!!  Record number of campers registered!  About 130....100 of them girls!! haha

After fun at the gym, we went for a walk to the water....and you wouldn't believe the nature we saw while we were there!!  Here are the kids watching 3 otters playing in front of them.....after this, we watched a hawk, fly out of NOWHERE, and cream a little robin right in mid-air.  The robin fell into the water, but when Isaac paddled out to it, it flew towards Elliot and I, and we had to jump out if its way!!

Poor little thing, bled on the table before it flew into the forest, to die, I would assume.  Nicole told me that hawks hit smaller birds and break their chests.

Time for the big ham dinner........

Its nice to be friends with people and watch their kids grow up into sweet little people.....and then grow into kids who can eat in another room letting us talk.....
