Curious Monkeys!!!!

I adapted the 'elf on a shelf' story to fit our little boys lives right now.  Auntie Jenny gave Isaac this little curious George monkey and a big yellow hat when he was born.  He has stuck around...and somehow he gained a friend over the years....we aren't sure where!!  But these little monkeys got into trouble, so the story goes, a few days before Christmas!!  They wanted to have some fun ... and so they would, when the boys went to bed.  Here are some of the shenanigans they got into while we were sleeping!!!

 The monkeys stole one of the gifts from under the tree once they were all

wrapped and tried to pass it off as their own gift to Elliot......

 Little late night card game......

somehow they convinced the Angel to come down off the tree for the evening.....

 I am sure this was just a misunderstanding after the game?

 We got alot of snow ..... this shot is just outside our kitchen window....

They seemed to have a tough time getting along the closer christmas eve got..... 

 But then, it was nothing a little late night fishing didn't help!!

 

 Yay!!  It's Christmas Eve!!!!!   Let's go sledding!!!!

Before bed, the boys often wondered what they would wake up to?

......what would those monkeys get up to while they were sleeping?
