We went to bed at around 11pm, and were up at 4:40am (1:30am BC time!!) ... don't we look raring to go???!!! Here we are in the 4:30am shuttle to the airport!!
Security was SCARY!! We moved maybe 4 feet in 15 minutes !! They had ONE line open for hundreds of people!! We had given ourselves like 2 hours to get to our gate for 6am, and by 5:15 we were getting pretty nervous!! Finally they actually brought the drug sniffing dog in, and for some reason that made everything go much quicker ... so here we are in the subway that heads to the other side of the terminal - which, we soon found out was the theme of the day! "are you on one side of the terminal? Ok, travel to the OTHER side of the terminal!"

Next airport ... travel to the OTHER side of the terminal please! We were really hoping to have a chance to stop for food during these layovers ... and we would pass all these great little food stops on our way across the airports but no time to stop!! We pretty much drank pop and juice all day .... bleh!

As this was happening and Elliot was getting grilled by Santa (who KNOWS what his little helper was doing in this picture .. she looks terrifying!!), but Isaac was hiding behind the attendant desk and asks "Is he gone yet!?" haha....
This is how we travel ... backpacks and one suitcase!! It makes traveling a total breeze!!! When we leave at the beginning of the trip, the boys are allowed to fill only one side of their suitcases, so by the end, after Christmas gifts and extra stuff we've picked up along the way, we are still set!!!
Now we are in a twin prop on the way to Victoria from Seattle! It was a quick half hour flight!! Almost home!!!
Considering we were across the continent this morning, and awake at 1:30am BC time, I think we all did pretty great! These boys are such amazing travelers ... no melt downs and happy kids .. tired yes, but still happy kids. They are a total treat to travel with ... it was such an amazing month. Hard to believe that it's over ... but it is SO nice to be home!!! We are all pretty happy to be home!
