We both approached a day trip to Bath with a little trepidation. We were (are) both pretty tired and were told that Bath isn’t conducive to cars so we’d have to take a park and ride from just outside the city. This all sounded annoying but we did it …. And it was so simple….
We got let off right in the centre of everything. We walked down the block to the Roman baths …. And while we walked in, we looked over and saw Bath Abbey and a gentleman playing the guitar in the centre of the court.
The bath house used to have a roof over it, so the water used to stay very clear but because the sun hits the water, algae grows quickly causing it to be green …
Best partner …
While we were at the Bath Abbey the priest was a beautiful woman in a long grey coat and she led those there in prayer for Ukraine. Broken hearts everywhere thinking and praying for them…
Everywhere we walked and looked was such beauty ….
I feel like I just gasped all day …. Every viewpoint was like a postcard …
The Royal Crescent …. Backdrop to many movies …
May as well do handstands ….
We all link arms as we walk … it’s the best part of the trip for me …
Elliot’s favorite part of the day ….
We all got what we wanted to eat - isaac got a Big Mac (please note the ground), Elliot craved KFC, I got a falafel wrap with a ton of veggies and Chris got a calzone ….
Time to walk back to the bus to get to Peter and Elsa’s house as they are expecting us for dinner at 6.
