What we think and hope is our last day in Paris, today was Eiffel Tower day .... we are all so tired and it is so hard to get up in the morning!
Waiting for the bus outside the villa ... Isaac made me a daisy chain necklace....
And Elliot made an origami swan....
Again, a happy guy with his starbucks....
Coming up from the subway, here is the L'Arc de Triomph
We skip all the lines (so many lines for people waiting to take the elevator up!) ... we found the ticket booth (empty) for those who choose to walk up the tower ....
Just getting over Covid? Why not walk up the Eiffel Tower? It will be fun ....
Ice cream after the tower .... by this point, I had received the check in notice for our flights .. so because it is 24 hours before boarding, it was time to get a covid test .... so we went and I went first because I am the one who still doesn't feel well.
The nice Parisian pharmacist gave me 2 covid tests because the first one came up positive and he decided to try again (very sweet) ... but alas, positive for Covid. We all knew what that meant ... so we were pretty disappointed..... so we went for lunch to decide next moves.
Family wanted me to try for a 3rd test in the morning ... who knows right?
Positive again ... sigh ... so we went and rented a car, checked out of the villa and went for a drive ....
