We weren’t sure what to do here:
Turns out, you just fill your car with the ‘petrol’ … and then go in to pay …. Very archaic!
I initially wasn’t too pleased when Chris upgraded to a larger vehicle AND asked for the elusive ‘automatic’ vehicle (manual is mainly what the British use around here apparently)…. But after all the driving here and the neurone that need to fire to stay in your correct lane and follow all the roundabouts and merges …. I am so glad he upgraded. It’s crazy over here to drive …. And can you imagine shifting on your left side? The guy barely remembers to turn off the car when we park lol because the gear shift is on his left. So we often roll forward with lots of alarms when he tries to get out of the car without parking lol
